You're not broken.
The world can be complicated.
Let's talk about it.

Warm, unhurried, evidence-based therapy for adults across Colorado, entirely online. I meet you where you are — not as a problem to fix, but as a whole person figuring things out.

About

Hi, I'm Jeff Pollet.

Meeting you where you are.

Jeff is a queer man who grew up working class and has navigated his own experiences with body size and getting older in a world that doesn't always make that easy. He believes understanding the intersections of our identities¹ can help us better understand our feelings and actions, and he brings that same curiosity into the room with every client. Jeff especially enjoys working with LGBTQ+ folks, men and others exploring questions of identity and masculinity, and anyone navigating life transitions, grief, anxiety, self-worth, or a search for meaning and direction.

Jeff sees our struggles in context — not as something broken, but as an understandable response to what we've lived through and the world around us. His style is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth; he shows up as a real person, stays curious about your world, and checks in often about how the work is landing, because this is your therapy, not his.² Jeff is a Master's Level Counseling Intern providing telehealth therapy to Colorado clients under close clinical supervision.

What we do

Ways we can work together.

Individual therapy

One-on-one support for anxiety, depression, stress, self-worth, and the tender in-between moments of change — at your own pace.

Identity & the self

Room for questions of queerness, masculinity, body, aging, and belonging — the intersections that make you you.

Grief & loss

Companionship through bereavement, ambiguous loss, breakups, and the big endings that don't come with instructions.

Meaning & direction

For the "is this the life I want?" seasons — making sense of what's hard without rushing to a tidy answer.

How I actually work

A few things I believe.

01

You're not the problem.

Most of what gets called a "symptom" makes a lot of sense once we see what you've lived through and the world around you.

02

Anxiety is a signal.

Not a defect to delete — often a pointer toward avoided truths and unlived possibilities. We get curious instead of just quieting it.

03

This is your therapy.

Not mine. We go at your pace, I check how the work is landing, and you're allowed to tell me when something's off.

04

No "average" client.

Your culture, class, body, and identities are in the room with us. I stay curious rather than assuming I already know you.

Money & logistics

Fees & the usual questions.

What does a session cost?

If you're paying out of pocket, sessions are on a sliding scale of $75–$100 for 50 minutes. If you're using insurance, you'll typically just owe your plan's copay. Reach out and we'll find a fit that works — no awkwardness.

Do you take insurance?

Yes — through the practice I work with, Path 2 Peace LLC, I'm in-network with a number of plans (see the list just below). Don't see yours? Reach out and we'll talk through your options.

How long, how often?

Standard sessions are 50 minutes. We'll usually meet weekly to start, then adjust to what you need.

Is online therapy as effective as in person?

For most concerns, research shows telehealth is just as effective — and all sessions are held securely online, anywhere in Colorado.

Say hi

Let's take the first step.

The first step is a free 15-minute consult — just call or text (510) 473-5410 and we'll set it up. Reaching out can be the hardest part; I'll usually reply within one business day. No pressure, no script.

I see clients through Path2Peace, a group practice offering telehealth across Colorado — you can read more about me on my Path2Peace profile.

In crisis or thinking about suicide? Call or text 988 (US Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or call 911. You deserve immediate support.
